A few months into the new year, and as far as hip goes, nothing mind blowing imo. I'll speak on three of the biggest artist that released projects thus far; Drake, Lil Baby, & Playboi Carti. Lil Baby's "WHAM" serves to hold off the criticism he's been recently plagued with. I though it was a decent album, but i cant honestly say it's still in my rotation. While Drake'c collabs album with PND gavs us a couple of club hits and tailors to that female audience. A good chess move by the Canadian rapper to try and move on from the Kendrick beef. Carti's highly anticipated 'I AM MUSIC' drops after a five year wait period from his previous porject. Carti's mysterious and suspensful way of doing things proves to be beneficial once again. He gives his fans exactly what they want and remains a top artist in the industry.
